As already mentioned in past posts, one of my favourite reference books for cooking Indian food is Camellia Panjabi’s 50 Great Curries of India
It is essential reading for anyone getting started with curries. This book is very informative but more importantly, it will delight you with appetising illustrations.
If you like the mixture of heat-taming coconut, sour tamarind with just enough chilli heat, this one is for you. It is quite easy to make too, goes very well with plain Basmati rice, so don’t be daunted by it.
Someone kindly put her recipe online so by all means give it a go!
